Sci Fi Book Options

Hey y'all. I have some choices for you that range from classics to modern. Please preview them using www.amazon.com or www.barnesandnoble.com. Read the description of the books and the reviews. Weigh in by Tuesday at 3:00, and I'll notify everyone of the winner the same afternoon. Here are the choices:

Fahrenheit 451, Ray Bradybury

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Adams

A Wrinkle in Time, Madeleine L'Engle (We could also read a sequel if everyone has read one or more in the series.)

Rat Trap, Michael Daley

The Other Side of the Island, Alegra Goodman

The House of the Scorpion, Nancy Farmer (This one comes highly recommended from a librarian friend of mine.)

Happy choosing!
Rachel

  1. I've read a Wrinkle in Time and both the books that come after it. I am going to go to the library tomorrow and see about the others.

  4. Fahrenheit 451 does look really good! The Other Side of the Island might be my first choice, though. I don't have a clue about Rat Trap because all three of the library's copies are out.
